This is the perfect wedding venue! Swan Lake is a beautiful, private location with several picturesque backdrops. They even have real swans! There are multiple locations on the property where you can exchange your vows. They are perfectly set up from outdoors to indoors to house your wedding and guests. The landscaping is superb and very well thought out. The lake is gorgeous with bridges and even has a gazebo. We love taking pictures here because of the beautiful natural setting they have created indoors; their banquet hall is eloquent and has a great dance floor with ceiling-to-floor windows overlooking the lake and swimming swans. They also have a great patio that lends itself to beautiful night shots.

This is a beautiful and relaxing wedding venue. If we could get married all over again, this would be one of our top choices. Not only do they take care of catering a delightful meal, but they also have two unique locations on-site to get married. One is a historic post and beam barn that is modern and gorgeous, and the other is an iron & virgin cypress Lord & Burnham greenhouse from the early twentieth century. From a wedding photographer’s perspective, this is an excellent location for wedding portraits. There is a nice mixture of indoor and outdoor settings, and the greenhouse venue would have great natural light!

We had a great time capturing emotions at this wedding venue. It is surrounded by a forest in a private, scenic location. On the property, there are rock walls, a waterfall, and a lake. The banquet hall is really nice, with plenty of room for dancing and a great stone patio. The hosts here are very friendly and helpful.

If you live around Columbus, there is a decent chance that you have been to the Botanical Garden and Conservatory before. Suppose you have not been there. What are you waiting for? It is a gorgeous place! When our son was a baby, it was our go-to place for a stroller ride. The ride would be a guaranteed nap for our son! As far as weddings go. This is a fantastic venue. Elegant and appealing in many ways. Your guest will love being able to explore this grand venue! From a photographer’s point of vie,w there is no better place in Columbus for beautiful and creative backdrops for portraits.

We have been to Cheers Chalet several times, and we love it! Cheers Chalet is about 20 minutes south of Columbus, Ohio. Located just north of the historic yet charming town of Lancaster. Cheers has a little bit of everything. The banquet hall is perfect for a medium-to-small wedding, and the outdoor covered patio is perfectly decorated and well-suited for a fun reception. The folks that work at Cheers are great to work with; they are both accommodating and friendly. Surrounding the banquet hall, they have done a nice job with their landscaping and have created a pretty place to get married. As photographers, we love having the trees and forest as a natural backdrop!
